We are happy to welcome you to one of the most beautiful seaside resorts in Italy. This area offers the authentic colours and fragrances of the Mediterranean and we hope you will choose to enjoy and admire some of the most beautiful spots along the coast on our boat.

Our excursions go to the splendid bays of the Zingaro Reserve and the “ faraglioni” of Scopello, or the Monte Cofano Reserve and the splendid coves in the Golfo di Macari.
The boat can carry up to 12 passengers and during the excursions at least two stops of about 45 minutes are made so you can enjoy a swim in the marvellous crystal-clear waters or just relax and try some of the delicious local products.

Crestliner shipyard- Crestitalia More than a cabin cruiser

Year of production: this “fast cabin cruiser” (as it is rightly called in the brochure from the period) was first made in 1972 and was probably produced until 1984. In just the first year alone fifty boats were produced, mostly for the Police and other Public Corporations.

In 1972 the shipyard moved along the banks of the River Magra, to Ameglia, and the Crestliner company became Crestitalia. Making the most of their know-how about fibre-glass technology, a field in which Crestitalia was particularly expert, the company’s range of craft included self-righting lifeboats, fast patrol boats, pontoons, water taxis, and motoryachts.

In short, a wide range of fibre-glass vessels designed to be safe and seaworthy as required by the police forces.

Presentation: there were already various cabin cruisers on the market at the time, but the name of Crestitalia came to mean well-built, solid boats as is only right in boats that were created to be seriously seaworthy, and not just for show.

Construction: in fibre-glass from a single mould, with structural reinforcements in accordance with RINA regulations.

Description: the hull is suited to both fast cruising and to the lower displacement speeds thanks to the decidedly seaworthy characteristic of this cabin cruiser. The hull shape is pleasing and the boat has a natural linear look.

Engines: Two Aifo 135 HP engines (maximum speed 23 knots)

Sailing: the Aztec is stable, the bow does not slam on the waves, it has a turning area of about 30 metres, and excellent stability. Try saying that about many of the boats built today…

How much of this is still valid for today’s market: all of it, particularly the hull.

Excursions

The excursions go along the coast to the Zingaro Reserve and the Faraglioni at Scopello or to the Monte Cofano Reserve and the Gulf of Makari.

Max. 12 passengers – Departures daily from the tourist marina in San Vito Lo Capo.

ITINERARIES

San Vito Lo Capo – Zingaro – Scopello

At least two stops of 45 minutes each are made during the trip. The first stop is made at the Cala dell’Uzzo , the second in front of the Tonnara di Scopello and the Faraglioni

San Vito Lo Capo – Riserva Monte Cofano

At least two stops of 45 minutes each are made during the trip. The first stop is made near Isulidda, the second near Scialandro Rock and the Military Tower.

During the first stop guests on board are offered coffee and typical local cakes and during the second stop they can enjoy an aperitif.

Fins and masks are provided free of charge for use during the stops. Various swimming aids are also available.

Times

Morning: 09.00 -13.30

Afternoon: 14.30 – 19.00

Full day: 09.30 – 18.00 (full day excursions are on arrangement only)

Due to the limited number of places available (maximum 12 passengers) you are advised to book well in advance, particularly in the high season (June, July, August).

Bookings can be made individually or for groups. There is also the possibility of hiring the entire boat for half a day or for the whole day.
